Your first class. What should you know?

At BYLD Fitness + Studio, all fitness levels are welcome. Our instructors design the class for the experience to be as hard or easy as YOU make it! 

  • Wear tennis shoes or cycling shoes (if you have them) and workout gear (be prepared to sweat!).

  • Bring water! You’ll need it! After your class, we will hand you a cooled, essential oil towelette that will be perfect after your sweat session.

  • PACE YOURSELF. There is NO shame in taking a needed break during your class. These classes are meant to be done at your own pace and you can work your way up to making it the entire length of the class! Each class has fitness level modifications. We know it takes some time getting used to :)

  • Come to your first class fifteen minutes early so one of our team members can teach you how to set your bike up and make sure you are comfortable for your ride.

  • Drink lots of water before, during, and after your class! Your instructor will cue water breaks, but the rule of thumb is try not to drink when your heart rate is sky high. Wait until you’ve recovered a little and caught your breath, then take a few sips.

  • This is a JUDGEMENT FREE ZONE. All fitness levels are welcome and appreciated! We come as we are, and do our best! Judgement will never be tolerated.
